Runnerup is Chasehill Little Bud

Richfield Silver Lining, a pointer male owned by Bill and Claudia McNamee, was named champion at the annual International Amateur Woodcock Championship in Woodstock, New Brunswick.

Runnerup Champion was Chasehill Little Bud, a pointer male owned by John Stolgitis.

Both winner and runnerup were handled by Mike Flewelling. Both dogs had numerous finds on grouse and woodcock, according to reports.

Twenty-nine dogs were entered in the championship. Judges were Jim Wade and Tim Tufts. Reporter was Austin Parsons.

Others competing from the Rhode Island area included Karen Unsworth and her pointers, Chasehill Bud Lite and Misty Meadow Rosebud, Phil Clark and his setter, Tank McNamara; and Richie Frisella with his setters, Peace Dale White Gold, Peace Dale Duke, Peace Dale Black Gold. Karen also handled Richard Giuliano's pointer, Richfield Almond Joy.
