ANEFTC TOP DOGS OF 2015

 TOP DOGS OF 2015

EXETER, R.I. -- Lloyd Murray of Stark, N.H., and his talented Long Gone setters, were the top award-getters at the Top Dog Awards held by the Association of New England Field Club at its annual summer meeting held Sunday, Aug. 9, at Arcadia Management Area. ANEFTC's second vice president, Dick Bembenek, presented the awards. 

Lloyd's young setter female, Long Gone Mersadies, scored a hat-trick, garnering Top Dog Awards as Open Walking Puppy, Amateur Walking Puppy, and Amateur Walking Derby of 2015.

Lloyd's setter male, Long Gone Studley, won honors as top Open Walking Shooting Dog, with newly-elected Hall of Famer Dave Hughes handling.

Erin Stolgitis, of Ashaway R.I., ran a close second in gathering up the awards! This talented young handler won in both Amateur and Open categories!

Karen Unsworth's beautiful pointer, One Bad Winter, earned another award for herself as she was named Top Amateur Walking Shooting Dog of 2015. Congratulations, Winnie!

The Top Amateur Horseback Shooting Dog award went to Chasehill Little Bud, a pointer male owed by John Stolgitis and handled by Elias Richardson.

Great River Kennels has another plaque to hang on its walls as Great River Ice won the top Open Horseback Shooting Dog Award. He was handled by Mike Tracy.

Witch City Fred, a setter male owned by Steve Levesque and handled by Levesque and Dave Hughes, was named Open Walking Derby winner.

And Muriel Primm's pointer, Fast and Furious, handled by George Tracy, was named Open Horseback Derby of the year!
