EXETER, RI - Drawing for the Region 1 Amateur Walking Shooting Dog Championship, hosted by Arcadia Field Trial Club, will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at 8 p.m. at the home of chairman Richard Giuliano.

The event will be held April 8-10, 2011, (depending on the number of entries) at Arcadia Management Area, Exeter, RI. (For directions to grounds, click on red tab above.)

Entry fee is $100, heats are one-hour, and running begins at 8 a.m. daily.

A single course with liberated quail will be used. Use of tracking collars is permitted.


To qualify, dogs must have an AFTCA Win Certificate in a derby or shooting dog stake.



Judges are Richard Bembenek of Webster, Mass., and Jim Curtin of Bridgewater, Mass.
