GREAT RIVER MAGNUM NAMED CHAMPION, IRONSTONE JUNGLE KING RUNNERUP AT REGION 1 AMATEUR HORSEBACK SHOOTING DOG CHAMPIONSHIP
EAST WINDSOR, Conn. - Great River Magnum, a pointer male owned and handled by Brian Sanchez of Central Islip, N.Y., was named champion from a field of 36 at the Region 1 Amateur Horseback Shooting Dog Championship. Runner-up was Ironstone Jungle King, a setter male owned and handled by Elias Richardson III of Uxbridge, Mass. The event was held April 16-18, 2010, at the Flaherty Field Trial Area.
Judges were Vicente Ballester of Simpsonville, S.C., and Steve Browder of Pinewood, S.C. Stake manager was John Malone of Bolton, Conn.
