EAST WINDSOR, Conn. -- The annual Region 1 Amateur Horseback Championship has drawn 24 dogs. The event starts Saturday, Oct. 15, at Flaherty Field Trial Area. Judges are Mitch Swierczynski of Griswold, Conn., and Pat Casey of South Hill, Va. Reporter is John Olfson of West Hartford, Ct. Chairman is Richard Giuliano of Greene, RI, and stake manager is John Malone of Bolton, Conn.
