BOYDTON , Va. -- Pat Arnold, 73, widow of long-time New England field trialer Howie Arnold, both formerly of Connecticut, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Virginia. Pat and Howie had moved to Boydton in the late 190s after Howie retired. Howie died in 1994.

While they lived in Connecticut, Pat was very active with the New Britain Field Trial Club, along with the Tattersalls and the Rondinis.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Deborah A. Wolak, of Meriden, Conn.; sons, Dana M. Arnold and wife, Cynthia, of Middlefield, Dale R. Arnold and wife, Lynne, of Wallingford, Dan H. Arnold and wife, Jackie of Boydton, Va.; brother, Richard H. Beaumont and wife, Midge, of Chesapeake, Va; nine grandchildren, Tamera, Christopher, Carlie, Cassidy, D. J., Dale, Elizabeth, Ethan and Greyson; two great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Samantha.

The funeral was held Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Easters United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Davis officiating.
